About the Story
We explore the infamous legend of Resurrection Mary. She's the restless spirit of a young woman who was struck dead in a hit-an-run incident on her way home from the Oh Henry Ballroom in the 1930s. Since then, there have been numerous sightings of spirits said to meet the description of Mary, a young blond woman in a white dress.

Jerry Palus encounters Mary's spirit at Liberty Grove and Hall at 47th and Mozart. When he offers the young woman a ride home, he gets quite the fright.
Mary is reported at the Harlow's Night Club on the south side of Chicago. A cabby driver claims he drove Mary to Chet's Melody Lounge, too, but she skips on the fare.
Another cabby driver crosses paths with Mary, this time near a shopping center. When she asks for a ride home, he's more than happy to take her money and give her a lift. But the destination isn't something he'd ever expect.
